Part II - Q & J

I had a lot of fun capturing some shots of Q & J last week after we were done the family photos. Here's a little preview for you :)

The P Family... Part I

I met up with the beautiful P family on the weekend and had a great time! The weather was beautiful and the kids were great! I had a lot of trouble choosing which photos to blog, so it's going to be done in two posts. You might recognize the older two from October, and they are still so cute and sweet :) And now there's another little princess in the family - Baby B who is a little doll, don't you think?

Lensbaby

My wonderful husband brought home an early Mother's Day gift this afternoon... a Lensbaby 2.0 and macro kit! I'm so thankful that he is so supportive of my photography hobby/obsession.

This is such a fun and interesting lens and I have so many ideas where I'll be using it, but it's going to take some getting used to... if you watch the instructional videos on the Lensbaby site you'll see why!

I tried out the +10 macro filter this afternoon as well and I'm really happy with the results! You can click on the photos to see them a little bit larger - I was surprised the Lensbaby is such a sharp lens, especially since the focus is all manual.

And here is a photo of my husband taken with the Lensbaby... Thank you for the lens and all of your support. I love you :)

Yellow Umbrella + Blue Door = FUN!

I love colour, and this summer I'm determined to get as many bright and fun shots as I can! I was so happy to find this blue door this evening.




And I will always love black and white...

Sweet photos of my daughter :) It was gorgeous weather for a few days this week, so we were able to head outside for some photos! Now we're back to cold and snowing/rain, but I hope to get back outside and take photos this weekend. I can't wait for summer to get here so I don't have to worry about it being too cold for photos ;) Haha, and then you won't have to listen to me complain about the weather either!
